Springs Police Use Pepper Spray On Man During Traffic Stop
COLORADO SPRINGS – Police say they had to use pepper spray during a routine traffic stop at St. Elmo & Nevada Ave.
A police officer searched his car and found a small amount of what he thought may be ecstasy.
Police put the driver in the back seat of their car and he started slamming his head into the cage. That’s when a police officer used pepper spray to get the man to stop.
The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating what the incident.
