Vonn Back On Skis, But Training Run Snowed Out

American skier Lindsey Vonn of Vail, after acknowledging Wednesday she had a painful, deep bruise on her right shin that had sidelined her for more than a week, has been cleared by team doctors to resume training and she did just that Thursday as the buildup continued for the 2010 Winter Olympics.Vonn put on her boots for a run down part of the Whistler mountain, but a full training run on the downhill course was postponed by heavy snow after just two skiers made attempts in the nasty conditions. Vonn reportedly was delighted at the postponement, giving her at least one more day to rest the leg before trying a full-length run.Vonn is scheduled to compete Sunday in the super combined event, then Wednesday in the downhill.
