Missing Indiana Man Found In Colorado
SAGUACHE COUNTY – An Indiana man lost in the Eastern San Juan Mountains is safe today.
Jason Pede was driving between Indiana and Pueblo to drop off some pets when he went missing Thursday night.
A cell phone trace put him somewhere near Wolf Creek Pass. Pede had driven his truck onto a snow packed road and rolled it.
He stayed with the truck and dog he was transporting, even burning parts of thevehicle for warmth.
Finally, he decided to start walking last night. Seven miles later, he came across a road and flagged down a driver.
He wascold and hungry, but more worried about the dog he left behind. Pede says he wants to go back for the dog.
