Another Armed Robbery In The Springs

Colorado Springs — Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who robbed The Little Market Thursday night.

Springs police say the man is believed to be armed with a black semi-automatic handgun when he entered the store on East Willamette Ave. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran from the scene.

Police were able to track the suspect using a K-9 unit. They say he went southbound on Prospect St. to Shooks Run Park. The K-9 lost the suspect scent at Prospect and Boulder where police believe he got into a vehicle and left the area.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic man with short brown hair. He is 5’6″ with a husky build. He was wearing a baggy gray sweatshirt and black converse shoes.
