COLORADO SPRINGS – Close to one hundred adopted Haitian orphans may soon be on their way home.

NEWSCHANNEL 13 received an email from Tanya and Aaron Ramsay Thursday morning stating that a charter flight will be going to Miami, Florida Thursday with more than 80 orphans on board.

Tanya is working closely with “God’s Littlest Angels”, an orphanage in Haiti and Messenger International, a Colorado Springs ministry. She is in Miami, while Aaron is in Haiti working with a relief team there to bring adopted orphans back to the United States.

According to a blog on Messenger International’s website, hundreds of children are awaiting transportation out of Haiti. One charter flight is scheduled to leave Thursday to Miami. The organization is working to secure additional flights. However, there are up to 700 orphans with adoptive U.S. families that need to be evacuated. The jet’s can carry around 100 orphans, which is a total of seven trips. Funding for jet fuel is needed. If you’d like to help, click here.
