3 Shot Outside Aurora Liquor Store

AURORA, Colo. (AP) – A late-night argument in a liquor store parking lot is being blamed for a triple shooting in Aurora.

One man died and two more were wounded Thursday night in a shootout shortly before 11 p.m. Police say callers reported multiple shots fired near a liquor store, and that police found a man who’d been shot a few blocks away.

A car carrying two other wounded men was stopped by police. Authorities haven’t named the men, described their injuries or said how many shots were fired and by whom. It wasn’t clear which of the three died.

Aurora Police Det. Robert Friel says police are searching for a shooting suspect driving a tan Grand Marquis.
