18-Year-Old Assaulted, Robbed At Gunpoint

COLORADO SPRINGS – 18-year-old victim tells police he was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

Sand Creek Officers were dispatched to Memorial Central Hospital to investigate a reported assault at 12:43 a.m. The victim told police two males robbed him at gunpoint near the intersection of Verde Dr. and Rainier Dr. During the robbery the victim was struck with the suspects’ handguns causing lacerations to his face.

The two suspects were described as two males, 18-22 years of age, wearing baggie clothing. One male wore a dark colored hoodie and with medium complexion. The other suspect was light complexion and wore a light colored hoodie.
