Tired Of Being Robbed, Shop Owner Plans Stakeout
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – A Subway restaurant owner who says she’s tired of her store being robbed is planning a stakeout to catch the culprits.
Van Pandya says her Colorado Springs store has been robbed more than a half-dozen times in the last five years and that the criminals are often never caught. Pandya says she’s upset enough that she plans to wait for the robbers to show up again at night so she can follow them in her car.
Pandya says her store was last robbed on Jan.6 and in October before that.
Colorado Springs police say they don’t encourage business owners to follow robbers or try to arrest them.
