Olney Springs Water Chlorinator Not Working

OLNEY SPRINGS – People in the town of Olney Springs in Crowley County are being asked to boil their water, or avoid using tap water until the towns water chlorinator can be replaced. A reverse 9-1-1 call went out to residents Saturday, warning them about the problem. A fire truck also went up and down the streets in the town to let people know what was going on. Officials tell NEWSCHANNEL 13 the water is *not* contaminated and that the problem *only* affects Olney Springs residents. A total of about 250 people are affected. The problem should be fixed by Monday afternoon.
