Acting D-49 Superintendent Announced

FALCON – David Bond is the new acting superintendent of School District 49. The school board announced the decision at its meeting Thursday night.

Bond has worked as the district’s chief information officer since 2007, handling the school’s information technology services. Bondhas also worked as a senior project manager at EMC, which is a data recovery company. He also worked for Intermosis, as a senior client principal.

His education background includes Colorado Technical University and the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Bond replaces Eric Paugh. Paugh relinquished his role as acting superintendent Thursdaynightto returnto his position as chief academic officer.

A nationwide search is now on to find someone to replace the last superintendent Grant Schmidt, who was let go earlier this year.
