Tejon Sink Hole To Be Repaired By 7 P.M.
COLORADO SPRINGS – Northbound Tejon Street in Colorado Springs is closed at Las Vegas Street because of a sink hole under the railroad bridge.
Southbound traffic is not affected.
Northbound traffic should take Las Vegas Street to Nevada Avenue to get around the closure.
City crews are working on the problem but the north lane of the road will remain closed until 7 p.m.
Next week permanent repairs will be made to the site requiring traffic to be re-routed. Detour routes will be sent out at the time the work is announced next week.
It is not known at this time what caused the sink hole to develop
