Canon City Woman Reported Missing
CANON CITY – Detectives in Canon City are taking calls and working on leads that have come in since they announced 37-year-old Dalina Denelle Turman hasn’t been seen since April 16th.
“We do have concerns about her well being,” said Chief Shull.
She is described by police as a 5’03” white female weighing 140 lbs. with green eyes and dark brown hair. Turman has three distinguishing tattoos, including one on her lower back, one on her chest and one on her lower leg.
Police say they don’t want to reveal too much about what they’ve learned in order to protect the investigation.
“In missing persons cases like this you never want to release information that only a person that might have had something to do with foul play would know,” said Shull.
The chief also says they have begun searching in some remote areas for Truman but won’t reveal where those spots are just yet and are not asking for the public’s help in those searches.
“There’s a couple of locations we’re looking at right now,” said Shull. “I anticipate there’s going to be more of that in the future if we don’t locate her.”
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Turman should contact.
