Body Found In Garage Of Colorado Springs Home ID’d
COLORADO SPRINGS – An autopsy confirms that a man found dead inside a Colorado Springs home suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
The El Paso County coroner’s office says 28-year-old Dametrius Tillman was the man found dead in the garage of a home on Wineskin Circle late Saturday. The death was ruled a homicide, the fourth homicide of the year in Colorado Springs.
Police Sgt. Mark Devorss says a woman who rents the home arrived about 8:45 p.m. Saturday and found that her front door had been forced open. The woman went inside and soon found Tillman’s body.
Lt. David Whitlock says Tillman was a friend of the woman who lives at the home, but that Tillman didn’t live there.
No suspect information has been released.
