CSU Holds Off On Concealed Weapons Policy
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State University in Fort Collins is holding off on developing it’s own concealed weapons policy.
The campus will wait until a lawsuit challenging the policy at the University of Colorado is resolved. The lawsuit, filed last year, is over whether state law alllows the university to ban guns on iti’s own campus.
CSU currently uses the default state law, which allows concealed weapons for people with permits. Weapons are banned from CSU residence halls and university-run apartments.
