Jury Selection Continues For Castle West Fire Suspect
COLORADO SPRINGS – A fourth day of questioning for potential jurors in the Castle West apartment fire murder trial. Derrick Johnson is accused of setting the January 16, 2007 fire that killed two men and left hundreds homeless.
Attorneys are trying to seat a panel of 12 jurors and three alternates from a pool of more than 600 people. As many as 250 witnesses are expected to take the stand. The trial could last up to three months. Johnson has pleaded not guilty.
