Pueblo Beating Victim Dies, Police Upgrade Case To Homicide

PUEBLO – The victim of a beating has died as a result of his injuries Wednesday upgrading the police case to 1st degree homicide as the search for the suspect continues.

Police say Julian Benito Archuleta attacked Tony Vigiland 39-year-old Michael Vigil at 2nd and Court in Pueblo on November 15th. 25-days after the beating Michael Vigil succumbed to his injuries and died.

A new warrant has now been issued for Julian Archuleta for 1st DegreeHomicide. Archuleta is known to have addresses in Pueblo, Walsenburg and Ellicott. Julian is described as a Hispanic male, approx. 5’9″ tall, 250 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. Julian Archuleta should be considered armed and dangerous.
