Sean Hauser – Chief Reporter / Pueblo Bureau

I joined the NEWSCHANNEL 13 team in February of 2008 after graduating from the University of Colorado in Boulder a few months earlier in December of 2007.Before joining NEWSCHANNEL 13, I worked several TV jobs while I attended College. For two years, I was as a Reporter for the Buffalo Stampede Coaches Show on FSN – Rocky Mountain where I covered CU athletics. I also spent a few months as a Reporter and Host for Sportzu.tv, where I did features on athletes and coaches ranging from youth sports all the way to the big leagues. On top of that, I worked as an intern at both KUSA and KDVR in Denver.My passion for journalism goes back to my days in High School when I joinedmy schools TV-News Show, KLHS. From there I became hooked, and have been in front of the camera ever since. Yeah, it’s cliché…but I can’t believe I get paid to do this job!I am privileged to be working here at NEWSCHANNEL 13 as the Chief Reporter in the Pueblo Bureau. In my first two months on the job, I’ve covered national newsincluding the wildfires in Crowley Countyand the Salmonella outbreak in Alamosa. I’ve covered stories ranging all the way from murders, toa solar powered coffee roaster.I’m aColorado native, born and raised in the City of Loveland where all of my family still live. When I’m not at work,you will definitely find me out on the golf course trying to improve my game!The best part about my job is being out in the community meeting with people and listening to your stories.
