Hurricane Info At R.N.C.

By Heather Skoldh.skold@krdo.com

ST. PAUL – At the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, an entire room has been converted into the Hurricane Information Center. This is so those in attendence can keep track of Gustav. After spending most of the day as a hurricane, Gustav was downgraded to a tropical storm Monday night.

Computers, phones and televisions have all been set up for delegates to watch and contact family members in the path of the storm. This is especially important for the dozens of delegates from the gulf coast region. There’s also a way for people to make donations to relief efforts.
