Teen Convicted In Diontea Jackson-Forrest Murder

COLORADO SPRINGS – An 18-year-old has pleaded guilty to killing Wasson High School graduate Diontea Jackson-Forrest last summer.

Tyrief Reynolds will spend 70 years in prison for the second-degree murder of Jackson-Forrest and the first degree attempted murder of his girlfriend, who was riding in the car with him.

The shooting happened just over a year ago. Jackson-Forrest was well known in the community as a stand-out football player during his time at Wasson. His sentencing is set for October 24th.
