COLORADO SPRINGS- Have you registered to vote in the August Primaries yet? If not you have until 5:00 pm on Monday, July 14 to get your information in to the Clerks & Recorders office.

One way to get a Voter Registration form is at the Election Kiosks at both Chapel Hills Mall and the Citadel Mall. Forms needed to update an elector’s address, change party affiliation and apply for a Mail-In Ballot also are available. You can leave your completed forms at the Mall kiosk secure boxes or they can be mailed to the Election Department at P.O. Box 2007, Colorado Springs, CO 80901. Mailed forms must have a postmark date no later than July 14. At Chapel Hills Mall, the kiosk is located on the upper level near the Motor Vehicle Office, in the Dillard’s wing. The Citadel Mall kiosk is in the lower level, Macy’s wing.

Additionally, you may visit any of the three locations of the Clerk & Recorder’s Office for voter registration services, Centennial Hall, Powers Boulevard Branch, and Chapel Hills Mall Branch, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Registered voters also are reminded that unaffiliated voters are not eligible to vote in the Primary Election unless they affiliate with a major political party on or before Election Day. Voters must be affiliated with either the Republican or Democratic Party in order to vote in the Primary Election. Voters who change their affiliation for the Primary can then return to their original status, Unaffiliated or other, after August 12.
