ASPEN – Several spring storms that moved across the state last week dumped several inches of snow across higher elevations, allowing at least one ski resort to reopen for aweekend.

Aspen Mountain plans to reopen 45 acres, and possibly more, of intermediate, snow-covered terrain on the 11,212-foot mountain’s upper reaches where the average snow depth is about 3 feet.

With Arapahoe Basin have closedi for the season Sunday, Aspen Mountain would be the only ski resort open in Colorado.
