Pueblo Hospitals See 19 Flu Patients

PUEBLO – So far, nineteen peopleare hospitalized with influenza in Pueblo, most of them were admitted within the last week.
At this same time a year ago, only two people were in the hospital with flu.
A spokesperson for the Pueblo County Health Departments insists, it’s not too late to get a flu shot. And there are still plenty available at local clinics, pharmacies and area doctor’s offices.
Beyond that however, the usual is still your best defense against the flu: be sure to wash your hands often, with soap and plenty of warm water. That way, you know you’re doing your part to stop the spread of germs.
