Business Closure/Delay System Information

NEWSCHANNEL 13 announces closures/cancellations that affect businesses with more than 100 employees or with over 100 clients expected to attend during the period of the closure.

NEWSCHANNEL 13 would encourage use of flashnews.net as the means of informing us of closures and/or delays. (NEWSCHANNEL 13 has no direct affiliation with this service and receives nothing in return for any entity’s use of this service.) NEWSCHANNEL 13 likes this service because it is secure for you and NEWSCHANNEL 13 knows that only a representative of the business or government entity with the proper code can place the information on that site. Another benefit to you is that this Web site is accessible by all media. However it would still be to your benefit to contact NEWSCHANNEL 13 and direct our staff to check that site for your information. If you will not be using flashnews.net, we require a letter with the names and phone numbers of the person(s) authorized to call in cancellations and your desired password.

NEWSCHANNEL 13’s morning show “Good Morning Colorado” is two hours from 5:00 a.m.to 7:00 a.m. Cancellations will begin running when we receive them and add them to our information system that displays them at the bottom of the television screen andkrdo.com.

When you call NEWSCHANNEL 13 clearly state your name, your organization, your code (password) and the phone number to be called back if necessary. The number to call to reach KRDO NEWSRADIOis 475-0800. The stations105.5 FM and 1240 AMalso use flashnews.net so if your information is posted to that web site, you will not have to call both television and radio.
