COLORADO SPRINGS – Things are improving for a motorcyclist badly hurt in a traffic accident on Colorado Springs’ north side.

Kirk Browning, 24, was involved in a wreck at Dublin Boulevard and Montarbor Drive. Police say the motorcyclist was headed westbound on Dublin and decided to change lanes. The motorcycle slammed into the back of a Dodge sedan. Browning was thrown more than 80 feet and suffered life-threatening injuries according to police. He was wearing a helmet and a “full-body exoskeleton riding suit.”

Browning was taken to Penrose Hospital and initially listed in critical condition but as of Saturday night has been upgraded to serious condition.
