Police Investigating Overnight Death

Colorado Springs-Police are investigating a death at a Colorado Springs apartment complex. They were called to the Lelaray Apartments at 2115 Lelaray st., just before 2Friday morning, for medical assistance. When they got there, they found a man in his late 20’s or 30’s lying on the floor. First responders were not able to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police tell NEWSCHANNEL 13 they are questioning another person in the apartment at the time, but don’t consider him a suspect. They also can’t determine if drugs or alcohol played a factor. The department’s major crimes unit is assisting in the investigation.
