Jones also claimed Haggard used meth during their affair. Haggard was fired by the church and resigned from the National Association of Evangelicals after the claims surfaced.

“People will watch us and look in our doors to see if we are doing things well and that we are not making mistakes.” Boyd adds, “It’s not that we won’t make mistakes, but every morning we wake up, we need to do the right thing according to scripture and be men and women of integrity.”

Boyd says he knows it’s going to be hard, but he is dedicated to serving the community and helping others. “I’m here to serve others.”
