A volunteer cleanup from 8-11 a.m. started the celebration. Through the afternoon and evening, attendees chose among an art display, a live jazz band, a dog agility show, and other activities including face-painting

The city also showed its first “Summer Nights” movie as part of the celebration. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was the selection. Otherwise, people enjoyed Palmer Park much as they would have in 1907.
