Money Matters: Pikes Peak Community College will not raise rates

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pikes Peak Community College will not raise rates for the upcoming school year.

The State Board for community colleges and occupational education took a vote last night to freeze tuition. The Chancellor of the Colorado Community College System says they couldn't burden students and their families with higher bills.

The State's Joint Budget Committee also increased funding to higher education.

Also in the world of finances, the online delivery service DoorDash says revenue triple in the first quarter compared to last year.

Analysts expected $994 million, but DoorDash topped a billion dollars from January through March.
