KRDO’S Tuesday Afternoon Pet of the Week

Klein is your KRDO Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! He is about 8 years old and a black-and-white Labrador mix who came into HSPPR as a stray. He is our current longest resident at HSPPR.

· Klein is a happy, fun boy who we believe is about 8 years old, but you would not know it with his energy level!

· He loves treats and knows "sit," but he can be a bit of a treat shark. He will take treats from your hand gently as long as he is not too excited, so some training will help.

· Klein likes playing with toys and going for walks outside. While at the shelter, he has shown some pushy behavior toward other dogs, so new canine friends should be well-matched and introduced slowly.

· Klein loves getting his hind end scratched and will do a fun, happy dance!

· Being a stray, we do not know how he would do with children or cats.

Come meet Klein today! Visit hsppr.org or stop by the Adoption Center at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily.
