KRDO’s Thursday Afternoon pet of the Week

Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region

Hippopotamus is the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region's Pet of the Week! He is a four-year-old gray Pit Bull who came into HSPPR as a stray.

· Hippopotamus is a happy-go-lucky boy with one of the biggest smiles you'll ever see.

· Despite his larger-than-life name, this lovable pup is all wiggles, wagging tails, and a heart full of love.

· He enjoys going on walks with volunteers and walks nicely on a leash, making him a wonderful adventure buddy.

· Hippopotamus has a loose, wiggly personality and loves seeking comfort and companionship from his people.

· He came to HSPPR as a stray, so his history with other animals is unknown, and slow introductions will help set him up for success.

· Whether he's flashing his signature grin or soaking up attention, Hippopotamus has a way of making everyone around him smile.

· If you're looking for a cheerful companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Hippopotamus is ready to make a splash in your life. Want to know more about Hippopotamus?
