KRDO’s Tuesday Afternoon Pet of the Week

Ed is your KRDO Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! He is an eight-year-old tricolor Rottweiler mix who came into HSPPR as a stray.

· Ed is a sweet, thoughtful boy who enjoys spending time with his people and soaking up gentle pets.

· He already knows "sit," is learning to lie down, and is eager to keep learning, especially when toys are involved.

· Ed loves carrying his favorite toys around and is just beginning to discover how much fun a game of fetch can be.

· He’ll even happily sit and wait for his toy, showing off both his manners and his willingness to learn.

· While he was found with another dog, Ed prefers respectful canine companions and isn’t a fan of overly pushy playmates. He may be happiest as the only dog or with a calm, well-mannered friend.

· Because he can be sensitive to invasive handling, Ed would do best in a mature home that can give him the patience, space, and understanding he needs to settle in.

· With his gentle nature, growing confidence, and playful personality, Ed is ready to become a new family member in a home willing to let him shine at his own pace.
