KRDO’s Wednesday Afternoon Pet of the Week

Nala & Simba are your KRDO Pets of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! Nala is a 11.5-year-old black Labrador Retriever mix and Simba is a 10.5-year-old brown brindle Labrador Retriever mix who came in together as an owner surrender.

· Nala and Simba are a bonded senior pair who have spent the last 10 years side by side, and they would love to find a home where they can stay together.

· These longtime best friends enjoy playing, snuggling, and keeping each other company through all of life's adventures.

· Despite being seniors, Nala and Simba still have a playful side and enjoy spending time with their people.

· They have lived with younger children in the past and did well, showing a friendly and playful nature.

· Both dogs are crate-trained and potty-trained, giving them a great foundation for their next home.

· Having spent much of their time outdoors in their previous home, they may need a little patience as they adjust to a new routine and indoor living.

· If you're hoping to open your home to double the love, double the cuddles, and double the companionship, Nala and Simba are ready to spend their golden years by your side.
