KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week

Sheba_1564651

KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.

Sheba is your KRDO Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! She is a three-year-old black and white Labrador Retriever who came into HSPPR as a stray.

Sheba is a sweet dog, she might just be shy at first while she adjusts to her new home. Sheba has warmed up to volunteers in her time at HSPPR and loves it when they take her on walks outside! HSPPR volunteers have said that she has fantastic leash manners, knows sit, and loves a good ear scratch.

Sheba came into HSPPR with another dog, but she has shown discomfort when meeting new dogs and may do best as the only dog in your home. This pretty girl has a lot of energy and is looking for a home that can give her daily exercise, toys, and mental stimulation.

Want to know more about Sheba? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 am – 5 pm weekdays and 11:00 am – 4:30 pm on weekends.
