KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week

Brownie_1641576

KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.

Brownie is your KRDO Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! She is a six-year-old tortie Domestic Shorthair cat who came into HSPPR as an owner surrender and now she’s patiently waiting to meet her new family.

Brownie is a bit shy at first, but don’t mistake her shyness for aloofness. She may hide from strangers at first, but all it takes is a little bit of time for this Brownie to turn into a sweet one. Brownie is gentle and mellow and would prefer a mature home that’s more on the quiet side. This beautiful cat does like to cuddle with her people, as long as the circumstances are on her terms anyway. With being so timid in new situations, it is recommended that Brownie finds a home without any other pets. That way she can slowly get comfortable and start out her newest adventure on the right paw.

Want to know more about Brownie? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 am – 5 pm weekdays and 11:00 am – 4:30 pm on weekends.
