KRDO’s Tuesday Afternoon Pet of the Week

Pet of the Week Presented by High Country Veterinary Hospital

It’s the start of spooky season and “orange” you glad you tuned in today to hear about this little pumpkin?! Wednesday is a 1-year-old female domestic shorthair, and although you might envision a black cat with this name, she has a unique tan and orange coat but is not a tabby, a rare cat indeed. Wednesday came to us an owner surrender last week when her original family could no longer care for her. A third Halloween attribute is that she’s a bit of a scaredy-cat but if you give her some time and let her take the lead, she will be a spooktacular sidekick! Wednesday’s adoption fee is $65 which includes our full adoption package: vaccines, a voucher for a veterinary exam, one month of pet insurance, a microchip and she will be spayed before leaving the shelter.

Want to know more about Wednesday? Visit or visit in person at 4600 Eagleridge Place in Pueblo. Adoption hours are Noon – 4:30 p.m. 719-544-3005.
