KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.
Ava is your KRDO pet of the week from Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! Ava is a one-year-old black brindle and white Plott Hound mix that came in as an owner surrender and now she’s looking for a new home.
Ava is a big ball of fun! She has a lot of energy, so she will do best in a home that can give her daily exercise, toys, and mental stimulation. In her previous home, Ava lived with children and loved to play with them and would even lay down for a nap with the kids once she was settled.
Other dogs can make Ava uncomfortable sometimes, so we recommend that she has socialization training with other animals in your home first.
