KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week

KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.

He’s out of this world… it’s Pluto and he is your KRDO pet of the week from Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! Pluto is a five-year-old black longhair cat that came in as an owner surrender and now he’s waiting for his new family to walk in the doors.

Pluto has a sweet personality and enjoys having people around for company. He will hang out with you in your area and sit on the couch next to you or directly in your lap. Pluto has a lot of energy and will need daily exercise, which is perfect since he loves to play with string toys!

Pluto hasn’t had a lot of experience with other cats so he may do best as the only cat in your home. He can also be nervous when he’s handled, so it’s important to stay patient with Pluto and give him time to adjust to his new surroundings.

Want to know more about Pluto? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 am – 5 pm weekdays and 11:00 am – 4:30 pm.
