KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week

Lily 1489068

KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.

Lily is ready to bloom in your garden! This sweet 2-year-old spayed orange tabby first came in to HSPPR as a very pregnant mama. We sent her into a loving foster care home where she could have her babies. Lily was a great mama, but now that her babies are all grown up, it’s time for Lily to find someone to take care of her for a change! Lily is a Polydactyl, also known as a Hemingway cat, which means she has extra toes. She looks like she’s wearing oven mitts! Her foster describes her as the sweetest mama she’s ever had. Lily can take care of herself when you are away for the day, but she’s ready to hang out in the evenings when you come home too. She might need a good introduction period with other cats – or she might do just fine! If Lily sounds like a good match for your family, come visit with her for yourself today! Her adoption fee is $50, which includes a voucher for a veterinarian exam, vaccinations, and a microchip, and she is already spayed.

Want to know more about Lily? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 am – 5 pm weekdays and 11:00 am – 4:30 pm weekends.
