KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week

Bodaccia 1475258

KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.

Are you looking for a partner in crime for all those hikes this summer? Well, Bodaccia is ready to explore the outdoors with you! Bo, as we like to call her, came in to HSPPR as a stray. We were able to find her owners, who couldn’t care for her anymore, so now Bo is looking for a loving new family to love. Bo seems to be housebroken, and she already knows how to sit for treats. Bo pulls a little on a leash, but once she gets that energy out, she’s a great walker, and she’ll love hitting the trails with you! Bo does seem to have a high prey drive, so she might do best with some training and without any small animal or kitty friends. Come visit with Bo for yourself today! Her adoption fee is $200, which includes a voucher for a veterinarian exam, vaccinations, 30 days of health insurance, a 1-year dog license, and a microchip, and she is already spayed.

Want to know more about Bodaccia? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 am – 5 pm weekdays and 11:00 am – 4:30 pm weekends. We are open for adoptions! For the safety of our staff and adopters, we are limiting the number of adopters in the building at a time, so we thank you all for your patience. Can’t adopt right now? You can still help out pets in need in our region by making a donation at hsppr.org/donate.
