Pine Creek falls to Regis Jesuit in summer ball showdown

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Summer baseball is in session. Things are not exactly normal, but it's a welcome return to baseball for high school players who had their season cancelled.

Fans in attendance at Cheyenne Mountain high school on Saturday were seated behind the stands. The game's lone umpire was not behind home plate, but behind the pitcher instead.

Regis Jesuit beat Pine Creek 11-4.
