Air Force cornerback Zane Lewis signs with Cardinals

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Air Force cornerback Zane Lewis is heading to the Arizona Cardinals. He agreed to a deal after going undrafted.

Lewis is the fourth Air Force Falcon on an NFL roster, but he will have to perform well in training camp to make his roster spot permanent.

Lewis has a pair of 99-yard interceptions returned for touchdowns on his resume.
Defensive playmaking is always in high demand, so Lewis may find a permanent home, if he can replicate that success.

While Lewis says he's "pumped" to start his career, he also acknowledges he has a chip on his shoulder.

"I definitely feel like based off my performance and my skills that I definitely, probably should've been drafted in those last few rounds," Lewis says. "I'm definitely not the type to hold a grudge or anything like that but I'll definitely go forward. I'll just work hard and keep grinding."
