CSU Pueblo earns home playoff game

The CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves earned a 4-seed in the NCAA division 2 playoffs and will host Augustana on November 23rd.

The T-Wolves are riding an eight-game winning streak and finished the regular season 10-1.

For defensive back Jamaal Sears, it will be the first home playoff game of his playing career.

"Playoffs is not really a thing for my high school so having a home playoff game… I've never done that, ever.," Sears said. "To see Pueblo come together and watch us play, it's going to be electrifying."

"I think we prepared to be in the playoffs," says quarterback Jordan Kitna. "That's the expectation here. It's something we've been preparing for since January. It's finally here. It's finally time. I'm excited about it. More excited than nervous."
