US Postal Service dedicates new pickup locations for ‘Aspen Acres’ fire evacuees

UPDATE: As of July 14, the Beulah Post Office and Colorado City Community Post Office operations have resumed normally, according to officials.

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Victims of the "Aspen Acres" fire are being asked to pick up their mail at new locations after evacuations closed some of the U.S. Postal Service's (USPS) offices.

The USPS locations in Coal Creek, Rockvale, Wetmore and Rye will all temporarily relocate services and mail, according to USPS.

Rye Post Office customers can get their mail from the Pueblo Belmont Post Office at 1025 East U.S. Highway 5 Byp.

The Coal Creek, Rockvale and Wetmore Post Offices are now delivering customer mail to the Florence Post Office at 121 N. Pikes Peak Ave.

USPS says customers must have a valid photo ID in order to pick up their mail. Some locations may change as the fire develops.
