Andrea came to KRDO from KSN News in Wichita, Kansas where she worked as a Bilingual Multimedia Journalist for three years.

Herrera grew up in Denver, Colorado but is originally from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. She moved to the United States when she was four years old and called the mile-high home.

During her Junior semester at MSU Denver she interned with the Local Univision station where, six months before graduating, she was offered the job of Multimedia Producer. Herrera left Univision after two years and worked for Telemundo Colorado as a part-time writer and producer before moving to Wichita, Kansas.

During her free time, Herrera enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her pets, Mika, Malú, and Esperanza.

She also loves the outdoors, photography and fashion.
