Fire House Subs serves up a special to Falcon FD
Firefighters from Falcon showed off their shiny new boots on Wednesday.
Firehouse Subs donated 47 new pairs of wildland boots for members of the Falcon Fire Department.
“I thought Fire House Subs only had great subs, I didn’t know they gave money to fire departments. So, we greatly appreciated it. It’s a great benefit,” said Falcon Fire Chief Trent Harwig.
The Falcon Fire Department has been busy helping Fort Carson with wildland fires this summer, and they say this $11,000 grant from Firehouse Subs will be a big help.
