Firefighters from two counties scramble to put out flames near radio towers

Fire departments on both sides of the El Paso/Pueblo county line rushed to a grass fire Monday.

The fire burned seven acres near some costly radio towers. No homes were threatened.

The fire burned seven acres on private land near Meridian Road and Overton Road.

It took two hours to put the fire out. The cause is unknown.
