Jury acquits man in shooting death of tire store employee

A retrial of a man who was originally found guilty of manslaughter for killing a worker at a Monument tire store has ended in an acquittal.

The shooting happened on August 9, 2010 at the Big O Tires in the 600 block of Highway 105.

The original conviction of Logan McClelland, 24, was tossed out on a technicality.

The defense argued that McClelland shot and killed Bradley Blehm, 50, because he was threatening his father.

McClelland and his father live in Como, which is in about two hours northwest of Monument near Fairplay in Park County.
