Sexually violent predator moves into Security-Widefield neighborhood

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says a sexually violent predator has moved into a home near the intersection of McBurney Boulevard and Willis Drive.

Jerrell Evans was convicted of second degree attempted sexual assault in 2001 in El Paso County. He also has convictions for menacing and escape.

Colorado law requires law enforcement to notify neighbors whenever a sexually violent predator moves to a new location.
