Police investigate home invasion after man shot in the leg
Colorado Springs police are investigating a home invasion early Monday morning after a man was shot in the leg.
Police responded to a call of a possible shooting on Terrace Drive around 3:45 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg and learned he was shot during a home invasion.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he underwent surgery. He is expected to recover.
No arrests have been made.
The Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
