Pueblo Police Department arrest suspect after recovering drugs and stolen merchandise

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Detectives from the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) Special Investigations Division and Crimes Against Property Unit, executed a search warrant on the 2400 block of Tucci Ln, in Pueblo, Colorado.

The PPD says that detectives recovered the following items.

  • 12 guns
  • Over 63 grams of fentanyl
  • Over $10,000 in cash
  • Over $100,000 in stolen merchandise from area retail stores
  • Over 17 pounds of marijuana

Detectives arrested 36-year-old, Anthony Obley in connection with multiple crimes.

Anthony was booked into the Pueblo County Judicial Center on charges of Special Offender and
Distribution. Additional charges of theft are pending, according to the PPD.

More than 10 stores were identified as victims of the theft. Detectives contacted the stores involved and returned over 75% of the stolen merchandise back to them.

The PPD will continue to work on this case as it is still an active and ongoing investigation.
